I am currently sitting at BJC with my mother in the hospital bed next to me. We are all here watching her eat her meal and Eureka on syfy. She was admitted yesterday afternoon for jaundice. If you don't know what that is, it is discoloration of the skin due to liver failure. She is scheduled for surgery tomorrow to insert a tube to her abdomen to allow for draining of the fluid that has accumulated there. So for now that is all that we know. We will know more tomorrow....
